So, of course, I have started to knit a baby sweater. As I don't know the sex of the child, I tried to pick a "gender-neutral" yarn. Now that I've taken a picture of it, I'm not so sure how "gender-neutral" it is...
I think it may be just a bit too blue. There's white and purple in there too, but I think the turquoise/blue may overpower. We shall see once I get more of the body done. In the meantime, I think I have a few more skeins of yarn that would be considered "gender-neutral" that I can use to make even more tiny items.
AND I have found the perfect card for baby shower gifts! (I actually found it ages ago, but have been patiently waiting for the perfect time to use it)

ReplyDeletehaha...that post on hump day!! perfect timing! that card is just plain hilarious! I would def use that rust color for gender neutral! i love it and loved red stuff when we didnt find out if we were having a boy or girl.
